The Sappers Association Queensland was founded in Brisbane in 1984 and is open to all ex and serving members of the Royal Australian Engineers this includes any other corps personnel who have been posted to a engineer unit.

We now have about 800 members and two sub branches one Townsville. In the beginning the Association was fromed to foster and maintain the pride of both current serving members and ex serving members of the Royal Australian Corps of Engineers. By February 1997, The North Queensland branch had been formed and 2002 saw the beginning of the Cairns branch.
